For many industries, staff training is not only about making sure employees have the skills to do what is required. It is about ensuring they are fully equipped to work in safety critical environments where any errors made could have significant effects.

At Ergonomie, we use Human Factors methods to prioritise competency requirements based on risk.

Our experience

Ergonomie apply behavioural knowledge to identify functional tasks and the associated technical skills, non-technical skills, knowledge, behavioural markers and potential risks. Conducting a risk-based analysis enables development of practical recruitment, training and competence assurance activities.

The method and media of training and our trainers’ knowledge and experience are crucial to the overall effectiveness of training. We adapt our training to the audience requirements. Our facilitation and communication skills are strengthened by a diverse client base and interaction across a company, from senior management at a strategic level to front line operators.

Ergonomie is increasingly using Virtual Reality for immersive training in high consequence jobs such as train drivers and maintenance staff. Virtual Reality is highly immersive and provides a more "hands-on" repeatability for training skills which are difficult to train in-situ either due to cost, logistics, or because they are dangerous.

Our e-courses will provide you with the skills and knowledge needed to implement human factors and ergonomics principles at home and in the workplace.

Our experienced trainers lead you through our virtual ‘face-to-face training modules that combine presentations, videos and self-assessments. Ergonomie’s e-courses are applicable to;

  • individuals who want to know more

  • Human Factors practitioners who want to gain knowledge in new sectors

  • those responsible for managing health and safety.

Ergonomie has extensive experience in the identification of training needs, the development of Risk Based Training Needs Analysis and training course materials.
